John Halliday is Director of Jefferson-Madison Regional Library. The library system serves 200,000 residents of Central Virginia in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties of Albemarle, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson. Mr. Halliday received his Master's Degree in Library Science from Rutgers University and has professional certification in the State of Arizona, Commonwealth of Virginia, and Washington State. He is the author of several novels for young readers including Shooting Monarchs (Simon and Schuster), Predicktions (Simon and Schuster), and Gewitterfische (Bertelsmann Verlag). He lives in Charlottesville with his wife, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. They have four children.
